Kings Dominion disappointed hundreds of fans last month when, after teasing an RMC Hurler all summer, they announced a…Planet Snoopy expansion. Likewise, Cedar Point fans gathered at the Point for Mean Streak’s funeral last week, hoping for an RMC announcement, but found…a coaster about to be torn down? While it might seem like the parks are denying their rumored new rides, they’ve been subtly dropping hints that all but confirm their involvement with Rocky Mountain Construction. Let’s check them out.

There’s Really More Coming!

At Kings Dominion’s 2017 announcement, the final slide of the presentation touted “There’s Really More Coming!” This leads me to believe not only that the park has a second announcement planned in the near future, but that it will be with Rocky Mountain Construction.

Richard Michael Crosby

At Cedar Point’s funeral for Mean Streak last week, a man giving last rites introduced himself to the crowd as “Richard Michael Crosby.” I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a pretty solid hint to me.

RMC Crane

Oh, and if that’s not enough, a Rocky Mountain Construction crane was spotted at the Point this week, though it’s hard to verify the authenticity of the image:

I think it’s safe to say that both Cedar Point and Kings Dominion will be making their announcements soon, and whatever they have planned will not disappoint. Stay tuned for more information!
