Crews at Cedar Point have been hard at work in the process of bringing Valravn to life. Last week, the first piece of steel track was installed.
After pouring footers, the construction crew erected the supports for the first section of track.
Next, a crane was used to lift the piece into place. Valravn’s track is especially big because it has to support the weight of the extra-wide trains found on dive coasters.
Done! Now the first piece of track is in place.
This section of track will be found somewhere around the break-run, just before entering the station.
As you can see, crews are wasting no time in erecting the coaster. It won’t be long until the lift hill goes up.
