Construction on Cedar Point's Valravn has rapidly continued over the past month and crews have finally completed the coaster's lift hill by installing the highest piece of track.
The news we've been waiting for ever since Skyplex Orlando was announced two years ago has finally arrived: Today, the complex was officially approved by the Orange County Commissioning Board.
Dollywood's Lightning Rod is beginning to emerge as crews from Rocky Mountain Construction continue to work hard on the coaster. Last week, they shared pictures of the ride's progress on their Facebook page.
Back in September, Universal Orlando announced that the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Islands of Adventure would be temporarily closing to return next summer with "new enhancements to its storyline, ride vehicles and overall experience."
Crews at Cedar Point have been hard at work in the process of bringing Valravn to life.
This spring, an all new experience will await riders at Cedar Point. Mantis, the park's notoriously painful stand-up coaster, is in for a change. For 2015, the coaster will be transformed into a floorless coaster, get a new paint job, and even a name change.
