About the Author
I’m Jonathan, a roller coaster lover since my first trip to Dollywood at age eight. Ever since my first ride on Tennessee Tornado, I have been on a constant quest to fulfill my cravings for thrill. As a resident of Tennessee, I don’t have many amusement parks to choose from, but I squeeze a park visit into my travel whenever I can.
I started Theme Park Press in April 2015 as a way to share my adventures and spread the news of the roller coaster industry. In May 2017, I relaunched the site with a more professional look but with a continued goal: to share my take on the latest happenings of the amusement world.
My favorite roller coaster is Millennium Force at Cedar Point. Its first drop plunges 300 feet down right off of Lake Erie at an incredible 80 degrees. Though it is probably overrated, it has been voted the number one steel roller coaster nine times since it opened in 2000. I don’t necessarily consider Millennium Force to be the best roller coaster I’ve ridden, but it’s still my personal favorite. You can read my full review for Millennium Force here.
My top ten favorite roller coasters:
|Roller Coaster||Amusement Park|
|1||Millennium Force||Cedar Point|
|4||Goliath||Six Flags Over Georgia|
|7||Top Thrill Dragster||Cedar Point|
