A year ago, on April 4, 2015, I started Theme Park Press as a place where I could spread the latest roller coaster news and share my adventures. 54 posts later, the site has grown a lot, and I’d like to thank my readers for such a great year.
The year in review
Early last year, I took a much anticipated trip to Carowinds to check out Fury 325. It completely blew me away and found a spot as my second favorite roller coaster (behind Millennium Force).
Then, in July, I paid a visit to the Roller Coaster Capital of the World, Cedar Point. Of course, I had to test out Rougarou, which I deemed a great replacement for Mantis.
This past February, I did a write-up on my Top New Roller Coasters for 2016, where I chose Lightning Rod as the year’s most anticipated roller coaster. I just might have to take a trip to Dollywood this season to check it out.
You may have noticed…
In celebration of Theme Park Press’s first anniversary, I decided it was time to upgrade the site. I’m excited to announce that you can now find Theme Park Press at themeparkpress.net (rather than themeparkpress.wordpress.com).
I haven’t completely decided where I’ll be going this year, but Valravn and Lightning Rod are high on my list for this summer. Feel free to leave a comment if you have any other suggestions.
Anyways, thanks for supporting Theme Park Press, and I can’t wait to find out what’s in store for this next year. See you in the parks!
